WEEK 7:

1. Dedicate a whole page to your class, your school, or both!

2. Draw your reflection in a shiny surfaced object. (try hard. Its easier than you think if you actually look into a shiny object.

3. If you were a Super Hero:

What would you be called? What would your powers be? (come up with atleast 3) ex.superman could fly, see through buildings, and was excessively strong.) what would be your weakness or Achilles heel? ( ex. Super man had crytonite: A rock from his home planet that canceled out his powers.) & last but not least who would be your arch nemisis: that bad guy, or good guy if you are bad!)

WEEK 5:

1. Try to capture an emotion or feeling.

(Enhance what you draw with color.)

2. Creatively put your color sheet info in your sketchbook. (ie. Paint a color wheel, cut & paste the sheet I gave you, re write it neatly. Etc. Remember to be creative.

3. Use oil pastels and practice mixing colors. If you don’t have oil pastels, use crayons or color pencils… or anything else you have for that matter.

1. What are you going to be for Halloween? Draw your costume. If you are not dressing up this year, draw what you wore the last time you did.

2. Draw a member of your family. Use the Modeling & Shading techniques I showed you in class. (hatching, cross hatching, scumbling, smearing, stippling)

3. Draw yourself as an animal. If you were an animal, what would you be? Why? Fell free to make up an animal, but if you do, write a poem about it.

1. “I Have a Headache!” Try to capture the pain of having a headache.

2. Fill a page with inspiration from fast food. (Food, food wrapper, customer, worker, protest, logo, felling caused by. Etc. )

3. Create an artwork that incorporates your hands and feet at the same time.
